Haxby Road Laundrette & Dry Cleaners first opened it's doors on 8th August 1968 as 'Haxby Road Washeteria' - Take a look at the picture above of the newspaper article we proudly have framed in the premises.

Since the 60's the Laundrette & Dry Cleaners was taken over by a friendly local family from 2007 (that's us)

and has been transformed and updated immensely with the latest laundering equipment, which has benefited in broadening our range of services.

This includes our new and improved dry cleaning machine which took a road closure and a crane just to get it in the building! - Pictures of the dry cleaning machine's journey can be seen above.

As Haxby Road Laundrette's proud owners we like to welcome all our customers with our great Yorkshire spirit which brings a sense of community and unity to our surroundings.
